What is Maryland Health Connection?

  • New marketplace to compare health insurance options and enroll in a plan that best meets your needs, whether Medicaid or a private insurance plan.
  • Even if you have never been able to afford insurance before, you may qualify for financial assistance or qualify for Medicaid through expanded eligibility guidelines.
  • Maryland Health Connection is the only place to receive new premium tax credits from federal government and cost-sharing reductions.

WHERE CAN I FIND LOCAL HELP?

There are several places you can find help:

  • See your Insurance Broker.
  • Meet with a trained and certified Navigator in your community.
  • Visit your Local Health Department or Department of Social Services.

NAVIGATORS

If you live in Somerset, Wicomico or Worcester, navigators are able to assist you through the Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program.

If you live in Cecil County or the Mid Shore region, navigators are able to assist you through Seedco.
