Maryland residents will have expanded health insurance options through the Maryland Health Connection. Seedco is partnering with the State of Maryland to help consumers understand their options and apply for coverage.

What is Maryland Health Connection?
• New marketplace to compare health insurance options and enroll
in a plan that best meets your needs, whether Medicaid or a
private insurance plan

• Even if you have never been able to afford insurance before, you
may qualify for financial assistance or qualify for Medicaid through
expanded eligibility guidelines beginning in 2014

• Maryland Health Connection is the only place to receive:
– New premium tax credits from federal government
– Cost-sharing reductions

• Health insurance marketplace available to residents of the State of
Maryland through the Affordable Care Act
